Woods Lil PeppyWoods Lil Peppy is the stallion standing at MLP Quarter Horses. He is a 84% NFQHA bay stallion foaled in 1995 by Doctor Wood who is by Doc O Lena and out of a Peppy San Badger/Dry Doc mare. The Para's bought Woods Lil Peppy Four years ago as an untrained seven-year-old. Liz admits that this was "less than ideal, but," she continues, "we bought him for his bloodlines, his build, and his disposition."

Mira, Cliff & Hanna

In fond memory of Mira (I StopFor Chocolate), companion and teacher.  Hanna & Mira qualified for the 2006 & 2007 AQHA Youth World;    . We wish to  express our deepest appreciation to Cliff and Mary Kellmer for all of their support and help with Mira and Hannah.

Woods Lil PeppyWoods Lil Peppy went into training with Cliff Kellmer late in his eight-year-old year. He proved to be talented, was a quick learner and began his show career in 2004.

In his first year of showing he earned his All-Around Certificate of Merit with points in Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Dally Team Roping Heeling. He continued showing successfully in 2005 & 2006, he finished his career with 28 All Around Championships, Register of Merits in Reined Working Cow Horse and Dally Team Roping, 5th in the Nation Senior Open All Around Horse (2006) with 103 AQHA points, and was a 2005 & 2006 World Show Qualifier in Reined Working Cow Horse.

MLP Quarter Horses have a small broodmare band with working cow horse bloodlines and they are raising offspring by Woods Lil Peppy both to sell and to use in their operation. They have had four foal crops from the stallion and they like what they see. "These colts have good bone, nice big hips and pretty heads - plus color!"

MLP Yearlings
The Para's and the feed-yard crew use the horses on a daily basis, no matter what the weather. They know what it takes to make a good working horse and that's what they want to produce. They also know these horses can be competitive in the show pen with Woods Lil Peppy's success and daughter Hannah showing her mare I StopFor Chocolate in AQHA Youth Reining.

Woods Lil Peppy stands by AI or live cover and they do ship cooled semen. For more information about MLP Quarter Horses you can email them at: mlpquarterhorses@smwireless.net.
