He is a 84% NFQHA bay stallion foaled in 1995 by Doctor Wood who is by Doc O Lena and out of a Peppy San Badger/Dry Doc mare. The Para's bought Woods Lil Peppy Four years ago as an untrained seven-year-old. Liz admits that this was "less than ideal, but," she continues, "we bought him for his bloodlines, his build, and his disposition." Woods Lil Peppy went into training with Cliff Kellmer late in his eight-year-old year. He proved to be talented, was a quick learner and began his show career in 2004. In his first year of showing he earned his All-Around Certificate of Merit with points in Reining, Working Cow Horse, and Dally Team Roping Heeling. Versatility At Its Best!! He continued showing successfully in 2005 & 2006, he finished his career with 28 All Around Championships, Register of Merits in Reined Working Cow Horse and Dally Team Roping, 5th in the Nation Senior Open All Around Horse (2006) with 103 AQHA points, and was a 2005 & 2006 World Show Qualifier in Reined Working Cow Horse. Woods Lil Peppy has had a spectacular show career.
